論理ディスク（アレイ）管理 †
一般事項 †
特定のOS上で実行すと以下のエラーが発生する場合がある。
Creating new unit on controller /c0 ... (0x0B:0x0015): Failed to notify OS of unit change
このエラーが発生した場合には、コマンドの末尾に「noscan」を付けて実行する。
ディスクの指定 †
コントローラにより、ディスクを示す番号としてVPortとPhyの二つが表示される場合がある。
RAIDアレイの構築などでポートを指定する場合には「VPort」を使用する。

RAID5アレイの作成 †
RAID5構成の場合は、最低3台のディスクが必要。
diskの指定はshowコマンドで表示される「Phy」の番号を指定する。
アレイの作成直後は、ステータスが「INIT-PAUSED」となる。
アレイの初期化は自動リビルドの実行スケジュールのタイミングで行われる。
自動リビルドの実行スケジュールは1時間単位で開始時間を設定できるため、アレイ作成後の時間から開始するように設定を登録することで、任意の時間から初期化を開始することができる。

リビルドの実行 †
- 概要
7000、8000系のコントローラにおいてのみ手動リビルドの実行が可能。
9000系コントローラでは手動リビルドには対応しておらず、スケジュールタスクとしてのリビルドのみが可能。
9000系ではスケジュールを1時間以上先の時間を指定して、スケジュールを追加することによりリビルドが実行される。

ベリファイ（auto verify） †
定期的な自動ベリファイの設定。
大容量なアレイになるほど通常はアクセスされない領域が増え、ディスクエラーが検知されにくくなることから、週1回程度の自動ベリファイを行うことが推奨されている。

AVrfy列がONの場合、ベリファイは自動実行される。

コマンドの実行時にエラーが発生した場合の対処方法。
Failed to notify OS of unit change †

ESXi 5.5にてadd、delのコマンドを実行した際に発生。（2015/05/05）

コマンド実行時にnoscanオプションを付けることで解消。

操作事例 †
ECC-ERRORへの暫定対処 †
ECC-ERRORが発生してアレイがデグレードした場合の暫定対処方法。
ECC-ERRORはセクタレベルの物理故障であるためディスクの交換が望ましいが、暫定措置としてデグレードを解消することもできる。

p0にてECC-ERORが発生し、u0アレイがデグレードした状態。

リビルドスケジュールを確認し、空きスロットの有無を確認する。
