ESXiへ導入する際には、パッケージの入手してVIBファイルのインストールを行う。

導入手順†

• 1. ダウンロードしたパッケージの圧縮を解除します

  unzip esxi6.7-util-bundle-3.2.0-12.zip

• 2. 解答したアーカイブから、管理ツールのVIBファイルを作業領域にコピーします

  cp ssacli-3.25.4.0-6.5.0.vib /tmp

• 3. 以下のコマンドでVIBファイルをインストールします

  esxcli software vib install -v /tmp/ssacli-3.25.4.0-6.5.0.vib

• 5. 起動時にシンボリックを追加する処理を設定します

  vi /etc/rc.local.d/local.sh

  
  末尾に以下を追記します

  test -f /opt/smartstorageadmin/ssacli/bin/ssacli && ln -s /opt/smartstorageadmin/ssacli/bin/ssacli ssacli

• 6. ESXiを再起動します

• 2. 論理ドライブの削除（Slot 0 logicaldrive 1）
  論理ドライブを指定し、削除を行う。

  Warning: Deleting an array can cause other array letters to become renamed.
          E.g. Deleting array A from arrays A,B,C will result in two remaining
          arrays A,B ... not B,C 

• 3. 結果の確認
  倫理ドライブ（Slot 0 logicaldrive 1）が削除され、構成していた物理ディスクが Unassigned として表示される。

エラー対応†

Warning: The command was not executed. When using SSACLI with esxcli you must supply the "forced" flag to complete the operation.†

ESXi6系以降では、一部コマンドは "forced" フラグをつけて実行する必要がある。
